Building on Windells’s 25+ year heritage in freeski coaching (longer than any other freeski coaching program in the world) and Mt. Hood’s year-round snow, Windells’s ALL-NEW FOR 2024 progression team is poised to develop Pacific Northwest freeskiers into regional and national champions with a distinct pathway to professional skiing. From skiers who’ve never competed to the #1 nationally ranked slopestyle athlete in the nation, this program provides the recipe for success whether you’re new to skiing or striving for the next level of elite performance

Each athlete will create and follow an individual performance plan.

GOAL ORIENTED - Goal setting sessions happen multiple times a year to help identify the purpose for each athlete’s participation on the Team. We believe that creating a pathway of short term goals to achieve the long term goals is a crucial component for the success of everyone on the Team. Our coaching staff will work closely to understand the individual goals set for each athlete by shaping a rolling four-year plan with key performance indicators (KPI’s). The KPI’s are SMART Goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Realistic, and Time-Based) and are transparent to parents, athletes, and our entire coaching staff.  It is this entire 360 Support system that helps ensure athlete growth and success at all stages. NETWORKING & INDUSTRY OUTREACH - Windells’s 25+ years of ski industry connections create countless opportunities for our athletes of the right caliber to network with brands who are already invested in the community that we continue to build. Whether team management connections with the best brands in the industry or U.S. Team coaches; when the time is right, we’ll help provide those critical introductions and recommendations.

COACHING - This ALL NEW FOR 2024 development program is designed by and under supervision of multi Olympic medal winning coach, Elijah Teter. Utilizing Elijah’s experience as a U.S. Team athlete with the countless X-Games and Olympic medals won by his athletes, this program will be driven by three key fundamentals: SMART Goal setting, focused effort, and enjoyment. A MESSAGE FROM OUR ATHLETIC DIRECTOR, ELIJAH TETER

I am so excited to be bringing this new development program underneath the We Are Camp Umbrella.  When I first came into We Are Camp I loved their Mission of Life Improvement through People, Place and Passion.  Turning passion into purpose is now one of the things that we work on with our athletes so they can go and be successful at this beautiful thing we call life!  With the right people, the right place, the right timing, the right work ethic, and with the right goals in place you can do and be anything that you can dream up.

After lots of searching with so many applications I am excited to announce that Curtis Yanasak, reporting directly to me, will be our Head Coach for this program. His mission: to deliver the best development program in the world.

Come join us as we embark upon this legendary journey!
