Love Like Ali Scholarship
Windells Ski Camp
Overview
In collaboration with Surf the Earth MHC, Windells proudly presents the Love Like Ali Scholarship to honor the cherished memory of our beloved camper and friend, Ali Patrick. This scholarship provides a significant opportunity for young female freestyle skiers who share Ali's passion for skiing and demonstrate strong moral character. Established in her memory, this scholarship celebrates Ali, a dedicated skier whose enthusiasm for the slopes, her friendships, and her commitment to spreading love and joy inspired countless individuals. She was a part of Windell’s for six years, forging meaningful connections with everyone she met!
Up to $3,000 will be awarded to a female skier who exemplifies some or all of Ali’s unique characteristics and qualities.
One of Ali's passions was empowering young girls to embrace their authenticity and take pride in their athletic skills. She inspired countless young women not only through her remarkable talent but also through her distinctive personality, which radiated humility, kindness, and a sincere ability to uplift those around her.
Ali suddenly encountered mental health challenges in April 2023, and during her struggle, she felt deep concern for those who might lack the family support she was fortunate to have. This empathy inspired her to create the Surf the Earth Mental Health Community (MHC), aiming to prevent others from experiencing feeling alone in their challenges. Unfortunately, she is no longer with us to fulfill her mission, but we are dedicated to continuing her conversation to raise awareness and stop the stigma surrounding mental health.
