This is your first test: Follow these directions. Due to the overwhelming number applicants we receive each season at Windells, we ask you to please read this information thoroughly before applying. The ability to follow directions is crucial.
WHEN YOU ARE APPLYING:
Choose the position you are most suited for, and apply for that. Hundreds of resumes come each season saying “I don′t care,” “I′ll do anything,” or “I′ll clean toilets.” When you don’t specify which job you are applying for, we don’t know which hiring manager should receive your application. This usually results in your application sitting in our office inbox collecting digital dust.

There are no employees working in our year-round office that have any summer hiring responsibilities outside of forwarding applications to the correct managers. Unfortunately we can not provide any updates on an application process outside of telling you that we’ve forwarded your application to the appropriate person. Additionally we are not at liberty to divulge any contact information for these managers. Patience is key- if a manager likes your application enough to take things to the next step they will be in contact with you.
Shared camp employee housing, lift tickets or a season pass, and meals are part of the compensation package for all of the listed jobs. Please do not call us to ask us detailed questions about the positions, ride time, pay, lodging, etc. If you are given a phone interview, detailed information will be disclosed at this time (Not all applicants are given interviews).

Customer Relations Manager (CRM):
The Customer Relations Manager (CRM) provides the central support function for our Summer Camp(s), Academy, and International Program(s). The CRM position is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction as well as completing the following duties; supervising/managing the customer service team, training staff members to provide the highest standards of customer service, ensuring that all company policies are followed, manage camp office, cold calls to existing and potential clients including; camp families, domestic and international teams, authorized retailers, resorts, college teams, etc. This position will work closely with the camp director and CEO as well as the rest of the senior leadership team. Additionally, the CRM will work alongside our marketing team, helping to develop sales strategies to grow the brand(s) globally.

2020 SUMMER POSITIONS
SPRING OFFICE ASSISTANT
We need an incredibly organized and hardworking individual to do all the wonderful things as a Summer Office Assistant (see below for description) except we need you to join the team starting April 15 and assist with getting ready for camp, parent relations, and prepping for summer camp. This position must work as an Office Assistant throughout the Summer as well.
Run off-hill activities, shuttle campers to and from Timberline, keep camper houses clean during session and prepare them for new campers after each session. Calm fears of homesick camper, keeping the wild ones in line, telling bedtime stories, being a human alarm clock, stoking the campers out on everything that is HCSC Summer Camp and much more will be regular duties as a counselor.
Chinese Language Staff
Much like a regular counselor you will run off-hill activities, shuttle campers to and from Timberline or the skate parks, keep camper houses clean during session and prepare them for new campers after each session. As our special Chinese Language Staff, you will work closely with the Chinese National Teams as well as our regular Chinese speaking youth and adult campers to ensure they have the most fun, safe, professional, and educational summer camp experience possible.
Start the session by picking campers up at PDX as a shuttle driver or greeter. Coach campers of all ability levels and lead on-hill coaching clinics. To coach at HCSC means to be a fun, positive ski role model (not a drill sergeant football coach). Off-hill, help with activities and have fun with the campers! End the session by helping to bring campers back to PDX.
Mountain Bike Coaches
Start the session by picking campers up at PDX as a shuttle driver or greeter. Coach campers of all ability levels and lead off campus trips to places such as Sandy Ridge, Post Canyon, and Timberline. To coach at Windells means to be fun, and be a positive ride role model (not a drill sergeant football coach). Off-hill, help with activities and have fun with the campers! End the session by helping to bring campers back to PDX.
Supervise campers on our three trampolines and in the foam pit. Assess camper skills to allow them to jump. Teach campers maneuvers on the trampolines, help them learn new tricks and how to apply what they learn to snowboarding. Open and close trampoline area daily.
Must Haves: Professional quality HD camera, laptop/desktop computer, well organized, experience in filming and editing, ability to work independently and within a team.
Shoot footage of all aspects of camp (from A-Level Shredding to D-Level Dodgeball) and pull some all-nighters helping to make the session videos and web edits on time. Work with individual campers and groups on private camper shoots making them short edits of their time at camp.
**Must haves: include examples of your work via a digital portfolio online. Please do not send us video files via email.**
Must Haves: Professional quality DSLR camera, laptop/desktop computer, well organized, experience in action photography and editing photos digitally, ability to work independently and within a team. Contribute photos for the website and/or ad campaigns, shoot campers who purchase a private photo shoots and deliver them edited and raw photos.

Kitchen Staff “K-Unit” (NOTE: only one kitchen resume & application need to be submitted for the following positions)
Wash dishes and clean kitchen/dining area after 375 hungry snowboarders eat breakfast and make their lunches, and again after dinner. Pitches in wherever help is needed during a shift.
Helps all aspects of preparing, cooking and serving nutritiously balanced meals, keeping the kitchen, food service and dining areas clean and sanitary, following stringent levels of cleanliness & ensuring camper & staff dietary needs are being met.
