The BMX and Free Ride Mountain Bike trails have been getting heavy sessions. Here are a few of the highlights. Doing this proper table over the hip is head trail builder Scott Draper. He built the Midwest scene, revamped Austin Trails, and with his shovel has taken over the Windells campus. Expect great things to come by the end of summer!
North West School of Freestyle owner operater Jaymo doing the Log Drop for the children. Buttlerflies start growing just standing on the log, imagine actually pedaling towards that gynormous drop. Yeah Jaymo!!

Things are beginning to shape up here in the last few weeks before camp. These are some spy photos of how awesome camp will be this year. Epic is the word my friends. This is the volleyball pit behind the vert ramp. All ready for sessions.
Like we stated earlier, the BMX trails are shaping up nicely. The beginner stuff is done, and the “Man” lines are being built as we speak. A new head builder flew in today and things will be out of hand by the first day of camps.
I can’t really talk about this, and in fact I promised people I would not post about it, but this is just 1/4 of a project that is completed and ready to be ridden in this summer. Once camp starts I’ll post pictures but just wait until you see this obstacle in person, I call this the toll bridge and there is a gap into and out of it that will separate the men from boys. Windells is geared up for anything you can throw at it…

Happy Star Wars day. “May the 4th be with you” is apparently why. Jeanette is the person you talk to when you call mid-day, and this is what she looks like holding up the Internet antenna. Windells is awesome.
Jamie is an important man around campus and that is because he is our head concrete builder and head skate coach. Make sure you ask for a lesson when you come to camp on dialing in your dream skate spot. Got cracks or a bank that needs a little kicker, Jamie will happily show you the secrets to proper concrete work.
Here is a good example of what hard work can yield. This is just a start too, wait until the newer photos are uploaded, they are making this berm to have lines leading into and out of it. With this obstacle, you can skate from the top of camp to the bottom of camp and not have to take a single push or stay in any straight line at all. Creativity is key!!
And speaking of lines, we have bmx trails still in affect. It’s kind of a double edge sword because every time it rains we have to stop building trails, but it means MORE snow on Mt. Hood. Weather details for tonight show 100% chance of snow between 7-14 inches. But don’t be scared campers, a few messed up pairs of shoes have never stopped our trail builders before. Be ready for the summer of your life…

It has been raining here for about two days straight and it has forced the building of trails to start at the top of the hill instead of the bottom. No fears, Windells builders are top notch and slowly turning into ditch diggers instead of trail builders. We have 1 line up and running, with 3 just needing a good packing and 1 more getting started today. There will be a plethora of lines by the time camp starts.
This picture is being posted to remind everyone how awesome blue skies and Mt. Hood are the perfect setting for your summer. Notice the Chemtrails in the background? creepy
I guess I’m really hung up on these nice weather pictures. This is at our new concrete mini/bowl combo. It’s increadably fun and getting sessioned regularly between rain showers. Bob update in the works, wait until you see this place!!!!
