It’s official: 2011 summer snowboard camp has come to an end. The towropes have stopped, the rails have been taken down, and everyone’s boots will finally be given the chance to dry out. It’s always sad to see the season go, but lucky for everyone at Windells, Session 7 was one of the best summer finales that we could have asked for. The weather was super sunny and there was tons of snow, so it was perfect both on hill and in the Concrete Jungle. Session 7 is Technine Session at camp, and the T9 crew is rolling deep at Windells! Derek Dennison, Dylan Thompson, Andrew Brewer, Marc Frank Montoya, and the Am Crew of Zander Blackmon, Ben Bilodeau, and Brady Larson went on hill to ride a really unique setup with campers and put on a contest for some T9 prizes. Ben is a young Technine prospect that is spending his summer out here at Mt. Hood. He coached session 3 at Windells. He is a very quiet kid but is loud when it comes to his snowboarding. He is a very talented snowboarder and you will definitely be seeing more of him in the future.
