Summer Caption Contest Winner

Well, it’s Friday, and that means the Summer Caption Contest has come to an end. We got tons of responses so thanks for taking part in the challenge! The lucky winner will get a custom Windells NXTZ, DVD, and sticker pack. You earned it. Before we can announce the winner, we want to share some of our favorite responses with you guys. Here are the top 5 Honorable Mentions:

Now for the big winner. Congrats to Cora Belsher for filling in Mr. Johnny Lazz’s thought bubble with a fun and creative response. “Wow, I can’t believe he can do a one arm push-up in that position.” It’s funny and also believable. Forest Bailey is exceptionally strong. I mean really, that kid wakes up and just starts lifting weights. Congratulations again Cora! You are the lucky winner of a Windells custom prize pack. Summer Caption Contest!

Everyone is back to school and back to work. Vacation…is over. But here at Windells, we try to remind you that summer is never too far away! For those of you who already forgot how awesome the past few months were, let us jog your memory with a caption contest:

Fill in Johnny Lazz’s thought bubble and let us know what he was thinking as he watches his good pal Forest Bailey hit the Nike 6.0 feature. The best response will get hooked up with a custom Windells NXTZ and a Windells sticker pack. So get those thinking caps on and get creative. We will accept submissions until next Friday September 30th. Get going!

Nike 6.0 on hill activity with Mason, Matt, Greg, Sage, and Ellery

Session 2 was the Nike 6.0 Session with hosts Mason Aguirre, Greg Bretz, Ellery Hollingsworth, Matt Ladley, and Sage Kotsenburg. They took over the hill on Saturday with a jam session on a flat box and Nike 6.0 launch box, riding and hanging out with campers and giving out gloves, socks, and tshirts to campers that were having a good time and learning new tricks! Session 2 snowboard recap: Nike 6.0, Gremlinz, Voluerz, and more!

It’s almost the end of June and that means that Session 2 has just finished up at Windells Snowboard Camp. The first month of summer has been flying by, as every day has been packed full with fun activities on and off the hill. The Nike 6.0 Team hosted Session 2, and with all of the park laps, skating, and Zombie Dodgeball the riders were taking part in, it was hard to tell who was having the most fun: Mason Aguirre, Sage Kotsenburg, Greg Bretz, Matt Ladley, and Ellery Hollingsworth, or all of the campers they were hanging out with! Nike 6.0 Sage-a-palooza!

The Nike 6.0 team was at Windells Session 2 and they made it a memorable one. Sage Kotsenburg had his second annual birthday party here at Windells. The campers brought their gifts to present to Sage for the chance to be chosen to compete in a frosting eating contest. The campers were creative, from offering their snowboard, to bringing a puppet that was Sage’s number one fan. Ten lucky campers were picked to compete in the chance to win Nike boots and other 6.0 prizes. In the end lots of frosting was consumed in very little time, and a winner was crowned. Do you want to win Windells Gear?!  Just send us a picture of where you have put your Windells Stickers!  Laptop, skis/snowboard, cat, it doesn’t matter we just want to see where all the stickers we give you have been placed!  Follow the simple instructions below for a chance to win Windells Gear!

Skate 7 Wrap Up

Session 7′s edit for skateboarding is live – we know it took a few extra weeks to post but in our defense, we also had one of the biggest skate sessions ever that week.  Long Story Short, we had lots of footage stacked to sort through & this is how it turned out.
