Rumors have been buzzing all around the Internet Worlds, should Windells get a second private lift in their private park or is the one good enough? Well It is official, Tim Windell himself called from the Oval Office minutes ago and made the announcment: ”WINDELLS CAMP will have a second lift for the Summer of 2010.” Windells is once again the first summer shred camp in the history of the world to own, operate and install, two of its very own private rope-tows!

Your local mountain will probably be closed by Easter, so why not come ski with a GINGER? Windells Easter Camp runs from April 3rd to April 9th and Ben Moxham ,a summer time super coach, is going to come out to Hood and coach the skiers. When Ben is not coaching, he is traveling around the country entering comps, filming with Poorboyz Productions and skiing with friends & family. During the past two summers, Ben Moxham was an excellent coach and skier at Windells, earning him a spot in Windells Recent Shredcasts. Check it out!
The students of Windells Academy had the time of their lives last week at the Utah stop of this years winter Dew Tour. The students enjoyed time at the contest itself, cheering on their friends and peers in slope style and halfpipe, and witnessing some of the craziest ski aerials known to man. The students had the great pleasure to spend time with people in the industry such as Jimmy Disco (US Team), Shannon Bahrke (Olympic Silver in moguls), Todd Schirman (FIS World Coach of the Year) and many others. The students made an awesome visit to Ccauswell headquarters (www.surfaceskis.com), took a trip to the flow rider indoor surf and water sports center, and even took a lesson on indoor sky diving! On Dec. 15th the students and staff of Windells Academy packed up their gear and headed for Dew Tour. The students spent the week competing and cheering on their friends in both halfpipe and slope style. On Dec. 18th,Christian Allen, one of our college Academy students from this past summer program was interviewed by NBC in their studio for qualifying for the full Dew Tour in halfpipe! When Moxy first pulled into Windells Two years ago to begin his coaching job, I did not believe that he was 18. I actually thought he might be lying just to have the job.
