The Session 1 Pro Session hosts, Johnny Lazz, Forest Bailey, Will Bateman and Nial Romanek, held a jam-format activity to give away some sponsor gear from Arnette, Flow and 686.  The campers and riders worked on getting tricks in a line starting with the Nike 6.0 pyramid followed by the pole jam.

Camp is in session and riders Nial Romanek, Will Bateman and Johnny Lazz have helped us kick off the summer.  Despite some variable weather everyone is excited about getting to ride Mt. Hood in June with tons of snow coverage.

You know the story, Windells invites a team of Pro’s out, we build them something an imagination can barely think up, then they shred it with everyone.

The Dream feature is a new project for 2009, and has provided a ton of excitement to campers, staff, guest pro’s, and the public watching.

STEP 1: Retrieve box of previously hidden waterballoons from woods, just as Brandon Reis and Jeremy Thompson are doing here…

STEP 2: Find group of unsuspecting campers. Here is a group waiting in line for dinner. Perfect.

STEP 3: Climb onto nearby roof, balloons in hand.

STEP 4: Throw waterballoons onto campers. (note: moving so fast that you are blurry in photos is suggested)

RESULT: Surprised campers have scattered and are refreshed, having escaped the clutches of the 100 degree weather for the duration of the water balloon attack.

BUT WAIT. What if you want to go above and beyond? What if it is an insanely hot day and the water balloons were not enough?

STEP 5: Locate nearby hose, make sure it is long and get it onto the roof, like Brandon Reis does here.

STEP 6: Get large bucket and fill with water. This will be used to dump a lot of water on campers really quickly. Brandon and Marc-Andre Tarte show how it’s done.

STEP 7: Have a friend supervise, like Tim Humpreys does here.

STEP 8: Commence soaking campers. Thanks, Flow Team!

It’s been so hot out that the Flow team wore shorts their first day on hill to build their Dream Feature. As you can see here, Jeremy Thompson wore sunblock on his legs. Brandon Reis did not.

Tim Humphreys, Jeremy and Brandon took many shredsled laps on the concrete jungle when they arrived at Windells. They were getting pretty good.
