1st Annual Narly By Nature Recap

Well, Mother Nature took it upon herself to be a little too gnarly yesterday. With a mix of rain, sun, indoor, and outdoor skating, the 1st Annual Narly By Nature skate contest was definitely wild. Right at the 5pm start time, the sky opened up and poured down rain on the beautiful, once dry concrete. But! Not to worry. Plan B made for a solid alternative. Luckily at Windells, we have outdoor, we have indoor, we got it all. They don’t call this the “funnest” place on earth for nothing. [Read more…]

Red Bull welcomes you to Windells!

Red Bull photographer Aaron Blatt came to Windells to hang out for a few days to see what really goes down in the summer months on Mt. Hood. Aaron was able to capture some amazing photos of our campus, the mountain, the Concrete Jungle, new BOB, campers, staff, and Team Takeover athletes. Check out the full article here to see some unreal photography and an insider’s perspective on camp life!

Skate Camper Edit! Sessions 1, 2, and 3

Here at Windells, it’s not hard to find good skate spots. You pretty much just need to walk outside. Our skate campers have had endless amounts of concrete to explore in the Portland area. With our Concrete Jungle and newly renovated B.O.B., Windells offers a private world class skate facility that only our campers, staff, and invited pros have access to. These guys were traveling the Northwest in search of a skate adventure, and they succeeded…big time. Check out our skate campers ripping in the new Session 1, 2, and 3 edit!

Windells Indoor Skatepark: Portland’s Hidden Gem

Portland, Oregon experiences about 160 days of rain a year. In other words, it’s wet. Skaters need to head indoors to feed their hunger, session ramps, and hang with friends. Luckily for us, we have a warehouse full to the brim with fun and creative features. Just 45 minutes outside of Portland, the Windells campus is the perfect place for all  eager skaters of the Pacific Northwest. It might be raining outside, but here at camp we stay dry and skate all day long. Jealous? Don’t be! You can get in on the action every weekend. Check out all the info right here and start escaping the rain at Windells indoor skatepark!
