Year Round Action Sports Camp
The Burton US Open Snowboarding Championships turned “29 again” this winter. Superhumans Elena Hight, Jamie Anderson, and former campers Shaun White and Louie Vito topped the podiums while common folk grazed for free stuff at the sponsor tents. Method Man and Redman played a concert for VIP Open goers and, as always, too much fun was had.
We have released Rachel’s location! Find her at the Windells booth at Ski Dazzle at the Los Angeles Convention Center. She is tall, blonde, and wearing a red and black Saga shirt. The first person to find her and take a photo with her, will be spotlighted on our blog, website, Facebook, and Twitter account (all those social media hot spots). Most importantly, YOU WIN STUFF! Our employees are amazing. They come from all over the country to live life in Mt. Hood with Windells Camp. Once August starts to slip away, they all eventually have to go back to reality and back to their roots. As winter settles in, our employees are building parks, taking classes, teaching lessons, and just about everything you can think of to pass the time until summer rolls around.
Summer 2011 has come to an end. It’s always sad to see it go, but it was an amazing season filled with so much snowboarding, skiing, skateboarding, bmxing, so many sponsor activities, on hill competitions, visiting pros to meet and watch shred…there was so many fun things to do, it went by so quickly!
It’s hard to pick out just a few favorite moments from summer 2011–there’s so many to chose from, but we gave it a shot. Luckily, Windells is year round, so the awesome times don’t have to stop! Open skate and bmx is happening on the weekends all fall. If you live in the Northwest, come skate the Concrete Jungle and BOB. After that, it’s time for winter and spring camps!

Session 8 was full on skate and bmx camp at Windells and Atmosphere Clothing was there with a contest for all of the campers. The Atmosphere crew took over BOB, holding a best trip on the Euro gap for skateboarders and a two run jam for the bmx’ers. Winners earned Atmopshere gear! Windells Weekends only have a few more public weekends left. Do not miss your chance to skate or bike Windells “normally” private skate & bike park. This weekend is the grand opening of the 2010 Windells Weekends. The Famous 12 thousand square foot indoor recreation center will be open almost every Friday, Saturday and Sundays throughout the rest of the Winter and Spring. BOB (the indoor park) is loaded with mini-ramps, stairs, euro-gaps, bowls, trampolines, foampits and so much more! Don’t miss your chance to take advantage of Windells has to offer during the non camp season.
