Take me back Tuesday: double rail!

Digger Austin Leonard blunt on the double rail.

The Windells Diggers are always looking to get creative with the on hill park. They are a hard-working crew of guys that, in between taking hotlaps and hawking Digger Dogs, spend their time dreaming up weird and creative features for the park. And it pays off. In summer 2011, campers, staff, and riders saw a ton of tubes, coping-inspired jibs, and lines that could be hit in any direction down or across the park. Session 7 Snowboard Recap

Andrew Brewer launches the spine with a picturesque nosegrab.

It’s official: 2011 summer snowboard camp has come to an end. The towropes have stopped, the rails have been taken down, and everyone’s boots will finally be given the chance to dry out. Tons of skateboarders come from all over to skate the Concrete Jungle. Here’s a short glimpse of some of the guys that have rolled through the park so far this summer.

Session 5 snowboarding recap with Eric Willett, Austen Sweetin, Jonah Owen and Cam Pierce!

Summer’s more than halfway over and at Windells, we’re trying to figure out where the time has gone (it probably has something to do with all of the snowboarding and skating we’ve been doing the last two months). It’s sunny out, there’s tons of snow, and each week the park keeps getting better and better. Session 5 just came to a close, and if you missed it, here’s what went down. Continue reading →
