WINTER & SPRING BREAK SNOWBOARD CAMPS

During Winter & Spring Break, campers experience Windells in a more intimate setting, where the crew really rides like locals. Windells is the place to experience mind-blowing powder days and endless fun runs. Mt. Hood Meadows, Timberline Ski Area and Mt . Hood Ski Bowl provides easily accessible parks and pipes along with natural halfpipes, wind lips, tree runs, steeps, cornice drops and open cruisers. Spring is notorious for big powder dumps followed by bluebird days. The winter coaching squad is familiar with all the lines, including the best places to build a  BC booter or where to shred the deepest stashes.

Feel right at home in groups of 30 to 40 coed campers; last winter, more girls attended camp then boys. The indoor park, BOB, is open every evening for campers to skate, bike, jump on the  trampoline, transfer from tramp to foam pit or use one of two drop-ins into the foam pit. Included with camp is the private demo center, stocked with all your favorite 2010 snow, ski, skateboard and BMX gear.

“Because winter camps are so much smaller, the entire staff gets to know every kid,” said year-round local Katiah. “Everybody knows everybody, so it’s like a little club.”

Mt. Hood Meadows and the Timberline Ski Area are where some of the most advanced riding in the world happens and their parks are among the best in the country. Campers will also have the chance to ride a fully lighted park at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, America’s largest nighttime resort.  Windells has a working relationship with all three local ski areas to ensure a quality riding experience.

"Thank you, thank you, thank you. Every day I ride the pipe it seems to get better. Sunny skies, a positive vibe, and the shape is better and smoother than the pipes I rode last winter.
