BEGINNER SNOWBOARD CAMPS
If you have experienced five days or less of riding, consider Windells Camp, where Mt Hood’s gentle slopes, sunny weather, soft snow, combined with USASA certified coaches, creates an ideal environment for learning.
Led by professional snowboard coaches, Pat Milberry and Reed Silberman, Windells staff is filled with the qualified and the charismatic. Using a step-by-step progression program for all skill levels and disciplines, skills advance quickly with individual instruction, video analysis and trampoline drills.
“The people skills and top-level athleticism possessed by each coach, combined with a small camper-to-coach ratio, ensures you will learn the most right here,” says head coach and professional rider Pat Milberry.
Novice riders need special features and Windells has them dialed. Depending on your athletic ability, you could be enjoying the halfpipe, performing basic tricks, riding the park and even sliding rails within just six days!
