BEGINNER SNOWBOARD CAMPS

If you have experienced five days or less of riding, consider Windells Camp’s Beginner Program, where Mt Hood’s gentle slopes, sunny weather, soft snow and USASA certified coaches creates an ideal environment for learning & progressing.

Led by professional snowboard coach Reed Silberman, Windells staff uses a step-by-step progression program for all skill levels and disciplines.  Your skills will advance quickly with individual instruction, video analysis and trampoline & balance training.

“The people skills and top-level athleticism possessed by each coach, combined with a small camper-to-coach ratio, ensures you will learn the most right here,” says head coach and professional rider Reed Silberman.

Novice riders need special features and Windells has them dialed. As long as your up to it, you could be enjoying the halfpipe, performing basic tricks, riding the park and even sliding rails within just six days.  No Pressure!

Beginner Snowboard Features

  • Easy Slide Boxes and rails
  • Mini wall rides
  • Small jumps (5-10 feet)
  • Smooth halfpipe transitions

I wanted to let you guys know that dropping my kids off at Windells was a joy. Not only was your staff friendly, informed and helpful but the campus in it self has everything my two boys could ever ask for. The cabins where the cleanest and nicest I've ever seen at a camp. My hat is off to you all...
