Just like the pros in Tim Windell’s day, they would all point to some of the same secrets of their success: year-round riding in natural snow, on features groomed to help them progress in a positive, encouraging environment under the supervision of the most elite coaches. And getting scouted by the industry and covered by the media all summer doesn’t hurt.
