Windells’ campus has more to offer then any camp in the action sports industry. The world renowned campus provides endless entertainment and training opportunities. Our campus is tucked snugly at the base of Mt. Hood, just a short trip from the best ski areas in the Northwest, away from traffic, the city, and distractions of being in town.
The on-campus indoor park, or “BOB”, is every action sports fanatic’s dream. Skate ramps, rails, a giant bowl, two trampolines and a foam pit have made BOB a favorite for evening activities. The on-campus Launchpad and BagJump set Windells apart from other action sports camps. The Super Awesome Information Game Lounge, or “SAIGL”, is a popular spot to geek-out with video games and a snack bar. The Demo Shed is open for campers to try the latest and greatest snowboard, ski, skate and BMX gear. Windells Camp sponsors infiltrate campus throughout the summer. The best brands and riders in the industry come to Windells to hang out, lead activities on campus, and give away tons of prizes.
FOOD AND LODGING
The Windells campus has plenty of comfortable lodging and a full kitchen. A buffet-style beakfast is prepared every morning, and campers pack a hearty lunch before heading to the mountain. The culinary staff at Windells prepares dinner nightly, catering to vegetarian, vegan or other dietary restrictions.
Cabins are fully furnished and renovated – carpet, beds, wood floors, TVs and surround sound. Campers are supervised overnight by one or two counselors per cabin. Boys and girls are bunked separately. Camp sponsors have the cabins kitted out with all the comfort and amenities campers want after a fun day on hill.
THE CONCRETE JUNGLE
The Concrete Jungle, Windells’ concrete skate park, is considered one of the best parks in the World. Windells has over 89,500 square feet of skate friendly terrain. The street course features mini ramps, a concrete bowl, spines and steps, plazas, drops, quarter pipes, a vert ramp, manual pads, and rollers. The Concrete Jungle is the largest and most unique skate park in the Northwest, seen featured in major skate publications and media outlets. Pro skaters from around the world visit Windells throughout the summer.

THE LAUNCH PAD
The Launch Pad consists of two drop-ins and two jumps that lead into a 60 x 60 ft. bag jump. Perfect aerial skills on dry land before taking new tricks to the snow.
THE RANCH
Windells is home to the first “green” dry slope made entirely of environmentally friendly resources; fallen trees from the local land, recycled steel from the Port of Portland, and mSnow. mSnow is an injection-molded 100% recyclable product that allows campers to ride and ski on campus.
FOREST PARK
The Forest Park BMX track features a massive pump track, technical woods, rocks, skinnies, ladders, log drops and more. Campers are welcome to grab a bike and take to the course’s beginner to advanced terrain.
DEXTER’S STORE
Dexter’s Store is open for campers to browse and shop for the coolest gear from Nike, Dakine, Skull Candy, Neff, Saga, Santa Cruz, Creature and many more. Pick up amenities needed for a great time at camp – backpacks, sunscreen, lip balm, sunglasses, etc. Windells offers campers a unique opportunity to pick up novelty items not found anywhere else. Loitering isn’t prohibited – it’s encouraged!
THE DEMO LAB
The Demo Lab is open for campers to experiment with the newest and best gear from the industry’s most popular brands. Test out any combination of new skis, boards, boots, bindings, decks, trucks, wheels, bikes and safety equipment. Windells staff assist in finding just the right fit for each camper. The tuning center is just outside the Demo Lab to get gear dialed for optimal shredding.
THE COURTYARD
The Courtyard is a grass field at the center of camp. It’s a great place to relax and socialize with new friends. The majority of Windells nightly activities and sponsor nights take place here. The Courtyard is always busy with campers roasting smore’s and hot dogs around the campfire, games of horse shoe, slack line, tetherball and basketball, and pros signing autographs.
