1) From ages 6 through 7,  Shaun White was  physically carried up the halfpipe by Brian Harper, founder of Mega Ramps and California Skate Parks, Jim Smith, director of Team Summit and Tim Windell.

2) Bonfire Snowboarding launched its brand at Windells Snowboarding Camp in 1989.

3) Windells has produced more multi sport high level athletes due to its private campus and the support crew that is developed around having a focus audience.

4) Windells is not located in Whistler our Government Camp.

5) Windells was featured in XBox’s snowboard game.

6) Ryan Sheckler left Windells camp a couple of days early to compete in the Slam City Jam in Vancouver BC and won a new truck. He was 13 years old at the time and a camper for 4 years.

7) Sammy Carlson pretty much grew up at Windells.

Danny Kass was a former camper of Windells at the same time his brother Matt was a coach. The two-time Olympic silver medalist is on the poster that Windells distributed over 250,000 copies of.

9) Grenade launched their brand at Windells.

10) Rome launched their brand at Windells and Windells is still the only snowboard camp Rome supports to this day.

11) Premier Snow skates launched its brand at Windells.

12) Windells store once had the highest sales of Skull Candy in the world.

13) Mt. Hood used to be the best sales region in the US for Von Zipper, thanks to Windells coaches Von Archer and Von Los.

14) The Frends crew were all former Windells campers for over 4 years.

15) Tim Windell holds 9 national titles and was twice snowboarding’s World 2nd Overall.

16) Without skiing, snowboarding would be nowhere near where it is today.

17) Skiing’s first introduction to Windells was in 1988 from halfpipe digger, Tom Riggins, who still holds the title of World Powder 8’s champion.

18) Every US Olympic Medalist to date has been though Windells — 23 in all.

19) Windells was the official camp of US Snowboarding.

20) Three of the stars in the movie Jackass used to work for Windells. Dave England, Thor Drake and Arron Mcgehee.

24) Tanner Hall used to hang out in Windells coaches’ housing.

25) Mt. Hood’s largest summer jump to date was at Windells in summer 2008 — an 85 ft step up, featured in No Correct Way and Level 1.

26) The largest hip jump on Mt. Hood to date was at Windells, as featured in the Red Bull movie Massive.

27) Windells hip jump was so big Red Bull brought in a helicopter in to film it, which was the first ever seen on Hood during the summer months.

28) Windells was the first camp to purchase its own property back in 1995.

29) Eddie Wall came to Windells as a skateboarder and left as a pro snowboarder after one summer of working at Windells.

30) Louie Vito was a camper from age 6 to 15 and still comes to Windells year after year. Louie was first on a TV show named Switched that was filmed at Windells.

31) Shaun White was a camper from the ages of 6 to 12. He appeared in 4 adds for Windells before he hit the big time.

32) Kevin Pearce was on the cover of Windells brochure in 2004. He was a camper for 6 years and appeared in one full page add.

33) Luke and Jack Mitrani were both featured as team members in a Windells brochure. Both were Windells campers for 5 years.

34) Craig Kelly, Kelly Joe Legaz, Kerri Hannon and Tim Windell ran the first freestyle snowboarding camps in Whistler.

35) Tim Windell ran the first snowboarding camp in Japan.

36) Tim Windell opened Crested Butte to snowboarding.

38) Preston St rout, owner of HCSC met his wife on Windells campus.

39) Kevin English, HCSC owner met his wife at Windells.

40) Windells operates the first dry slopes and  air bag in North America.

41) Windells operates a high school year round.

42) Windells has the largest skate park in the North West. For the record Portland was named the skateboard capitol of the World.

43) That Windells is not in Government camp. We use to be and move camp for some very good reasons that have every thing to do with taking care of kids.

44) Windell moved camp from Whistler, BC. Due to similar reasons on why we moved from Government camp.

45) Nike 6.0 launched their brand at Windells.

46) The top 10 men and 8 of the top 10 Women of this years Dew Tour where all former campers of Windells. Both Snowboarding and skiing.

47) 3 of the last 4 skaters of the year where former skateboard campers at Windells.  Chris Cole, Silas Baxter-Neal and Daewon Song.

48) Government camp can have up to 62 other camps residing in it at the same time.

49) Windells main campus is nearly the same size as Government camp.

50) Whistler can have another 24 camps residing in its Village.

51) That Windells is a the only snowboard, ski and skate camp in the US that does not have a bar, liquor store our pub located next door to its main campus.

52) MTV has filmed 8 shows at Windells.
