Atmosphere downhill skate race Session 1

The Atmosphere Snake Race is a tradition every session, with campers racing in pairs from BOB down the path to Dex’s Shop on a curvy course. With the new, smooth concrete we have this summer, it has allowed the course to get even more fun, with big bank turns at end. Jimmy and Enzo from Atmosphere just posted some photos from the race over on the Atmosphere blog, check it out here.

The Creature Room

The fine folks over at Creature Skateboards came in and decorated a cabin for the skateboard campers. NHS has been welcomed aboard to be the new skate program sponsor here at Windells. You can check out what’s happening with all of the NHS brands (including Creature, Santa Cruz, Independent, OJ, Krux, Ricta, Flip, and Mob) over at StrangeNotes. Who better to have at a camp than Creature? These dudes are running skateboarding right now, and there’s been a consistent flow of team riders coming through to check out the new concrete…

Jamie, Jasper, Nick, Billy, and the skate crew are hard at work installing our second trampoline inside of B.O.B. It’s looking like it’s going to be a full on bounce house inside of our indoor facilities here. Going to be insane. Two trampolines. Fully seperated from the skatepark.  Hope you’re ready for camp…

Silas Baxter-Neal digs the Concrete Jungle

Silas Baxter-Neal has been at camp over the course of the past week doing some filming on all of the different skateparks we have here. He got to skate the new Concrete Jungle and had this to say about it, “this is the best skatepark I have ever skated.” Silas has skated a lot of parks, so that’s a pretty heavy statement coming from him. Thanks, Silas!
