Session 6 Video Recaps!

Check out the recap videos from session 6!

Six down, one to go, and still riding down to the parking lot. What a summer it’s been. Session 6 couldn’t have been any better. We had a ton of fun riding the park and sunny skies everyday.

The Surface team dropped in at Windells for skiing, skating, games, and even tie dying.

What a summer it’s been. Seems to be flying by. Cam Pierce, Austen Sweetin, Eric Willett and Jonah Owen were here just to name a few. The park is as long as its ever been and we’re still taking full laps from the top of Palmer to the bottom of the Mile. What could be better…

Session 4 Snowboard Vids!

Session 4 sure was a blast, and how could it not have been with the likes of Nick Visconti, Curtis Woodman, Jason Robinson and Stevie Bell hanging around. The single largest and longest knockout games ever recorded went down, some pretty incredible skate sessions happened in BOB and the Concrete Jungle and we all shredded one of the funnest on hill parks to date!

Don’t forget about the campers! They have been out there killing it too!

Session Recap videos!

Summer 2011 has officially begun and Session 1 is in the books! Mother Nature has been generous this winter and we’ve got more snow than we know what to do with. Combine that with around a dozen new features and you’ve got an amazing place to ride!

Yobeat dropped in on session one and brought the likes of Forest Bailey, Will Bateman, Nial Romanek, and Johnny Lazz to rip it up! Enjoy the snowboard edit!

On the ski side of things, we have some awesome coaches out here, and some hot camper action session 1. They wasted no time throwing down!

The LIFEBLOOD team rolled through campus and skated for a couple days in the Concrete Jungle. Check out the video!

The skate campers had a good time visiting some of Oregon’s awesome parks, and of course, also ripped up our private park as well.

Forrest Bailey, Nial Romanek, and Will Bateman take a lap from Palmer, through Windells, through Public park and to the Mile lift. It’s over 2 miles!!! That is pretty darn good for summer shredding!

Park Videos…Still snow late summer!

Many people think that there is no snow left at camp later in the summer. They are wrong…Windells park is good all summer! Watch the video and check it out!

Goepper Wins Dumont Cup!!

According to the Chinese calender 2011 is the year of the rabbit. According to the 2011 ski event calender this is the year for the “Guppy”. Windells Academy student, Nick Goepper doesn’t skip a beat and walks away with 1st place and $12, ooo at this year’s Dumont Cup.

From the West coast to the East coast, Europe and back, Goepper has been traveling and competing with the industry’s top free skiers throughout the 2011 season. You’ve seen him place in competitions including the Dew Tour and North Face Open series, get invites to world renown events including the US and European X Games and now finish first at the Dumont Cup held at Sunday River, Maine. Despite many miles on the road and jet lag Goepper has got what it takes to stay on top. When asked about his 2011 season Goepper shares, “I worked hard to get to where I am and I’m stoked it has paid off. I’m looking forward to continue doing the same thing in the future”.

At Windells Academy we have watched Nick progress and become a top athlete right before our eyes. Coaches, fellow students and staff members couldn’t be happier for Nick and his accomplishments. Friend and Windells Academy student, Cristian Santini gives Goepper a shout out, “I’m stoked for Nick to have come such a long way and he kills it wherever he goes! I’m excited to see what the future has in store for him.” Congratulations, Nick!
