Year Round Action Sports Camp
When you think of snowboarding in August, the discussion quickly turns to traveling south of the equator to Chile, Argentina, New Zealand or Australia. This summer, after hosting their Signature Session at Windells, Nick Visconti and Stevie Bell packed their bags to go on a summer snowboard adventure like no other. Read on to find out what Nick had to say about his trip to the least talked about continent in snowboarding.

When you arrive at camp the first thing that most people notice is the endless skatepark that winds through campus. With so much to skate, you can imagine how much fun the skate campers have here at Windells. The Northwest is known for having amazing skateparks and we make sure to give the campers the opportunity to ride a variety of parks, including our own backyard.

Summer is here and the Dakine Skate Team came to camp for Session 1 to rip with the skateboard campers. Although, there was some rain, the campers went on daily skate trips to check out nearby parks that were dry, as well as skating BOB and the Concrete Jungle.
It’s not always easy to pick out a new snowboard or pair of skis. There’s so many options, from the way the product rides, to the company that makes it, to the graphics on its topsheet.
