As summer begins to wind down for everyone else, we are just not ready to let go of the best season in Oregon. For this installment of Throwback Thursday we wanted to revisit Session 8, our exclusive skateboard and BMX program that ends the summer with a bang! We can’t wait to do it all over again this year. But before we do, let’s rewind the tapes and look back on the amazing summer that was 2012. Thanks to our Session 8 skaters, we finished our camp season with a giant smile.
Winning! Everyone was doing it. Whether it was a kickflip contest, a Concrete Jungle Session, or just enjoying a day at one of the many skateparks in the area, everyone was winning. For those of you that don’t know, Windells skate campers travel to a different skatepark everyday! With so many amazing skateparks to choose from, every day makes for an exciting adventure. We love skating the Concrete Jungle all afternoon and night, but we might as well take our campers on a tour of the best skateparks the Northwest has to offer!
Thanks to our awesome film crew, coaches, and of course campers, we got some serious footage from the week of traveling and skating. Take a look at all the spots these guys hit and the insane level of skateboarding that went down. Shredding in the sun and enjoying all the Northwest concrete we can. That’s the name of the game.
