The 9th annual Louie Vito Rail Jam at Mad River Mountain in Ohio drew a huge crowd last Saturday. The snowboard Rail Jam was broken up into age groups of 10-13, 14-17 and 18 and up. Ten victors were chosen and one lucky winner took home the grand prize: one free session to Windells Camp for Summer 2013. Sam Grodhaus took home the ultimate win when his name was called for the grand prize.
Here’s what Sam, 15 of Dublin, had to say about his win. “It’s unexplainable I never thought it would happen. It’s great. I couldn’t believe it actually happened. I just want to get out [to Windells] and ride and try different stuff. Mostly get out of Ohio.”
All proceeds and food donations went to the St. Vincent de Paul food pantry in Bellefontaine, Ohio. We’re happy to support such a great cause, and we look forward to meeting this year’s winner on Mt. Hood!
