Windells Camp offers a unique opportunity for snowboard and ski teams to train in what would be the off season for most. Each year, a handful of teams across the US visit Windells to utilize the training facilities on hill and off. Mammoth Lakes, ISTC Freestyle, Carrabassett Academy, Stratton Mountain School, Axis, Winterpark Freeski, Ontario Freeski, Team Summit, and G Team are just a handful of returning teams and clubs.
“Windells is definitely a big attraction for teams. Everything is included in the package, so coaches don’t have to worry about preparing meals. Teams are just like the other kids when they’re here; they’re essentially a camper with their own personal coach. It’s great to continue that familiarity throughout the winter,” said Head Snowboard Coach, Dave “Danger” Boldwin.
Team packages are offered in both Day and/or Overnight plans. Day Camp includes food, lift tickets, and full access to Windells Camp amenities and ranges from $849-$949 per team member. Overnight Camp includes lodging, transportation, food, lift tickets, and full access to Windells Camp amenities and ranges from $1550 to $1750 per team member. For every five team members, both Day or Overnight, one coach comes for free.
