Here at Windells skate camp, we have the opportunity to take campers to different parks throughout the Northwest and you know it’s a good time when you get returning campers within the same summer! Session 6 was full of shredders who loved nothing more then being on their board.

On arrival day, skate coaches were dropping hammers left and right and continued to show everyone how it’s done throughout the session. The kids were hyped to have these dudes as their coaches.

Campers had the opportunity to see the “Redbull Rivals” contest at Battleground skatepark that had pros from Oregon and Washington skating for their home grounds. Getting to see some of their favorite skaters such as Kowolski, Gravette, Marlino, and many others was a time they’ll never forget.

Going to parks such as Pier park, Glenhaven, Battleground, Hoodriver, and both Vancouver parks made it a fulfilling week of skating and the campers couldn’t have been more stoked. Jamie Weller even took the time to show them what good skate spots look like around town so they know what to look for when they head back home. It’s times like these that make skate-camp here at Windells so memorable. So kick back, check the photos and be sure to watch the Session 6 skate edit, because I guarantee you’ll be back on your board right after you watch it.
