Every night at Windells, the camp staff holds a ladies-only activity. Of course, the awesome girls and women that come to camp are totally comfortable hanging with the guys, learning to skate in the Concrete Jungle, and can hold their own and learn new tricks on the mountain, but it’s pretty rad to get some time away from the boys each day to hang with the ladies.
Each activity is different, ranging from making and sending postcards to watching 80s movies and getting girly by painting your fingernails, but the theme is the same: hang out with the women of Windells and take away some souvenirs of the session at Windells. One of the fun sponsor nights? The Roxy doughnut eating competition, in which competitors must chow down on doughnuts, and there’s a catch–the tasty treats are hanging from strings and each person is blindfolded.
While being blindfolded and eating doughnuts may feel ridiculous, it’s less silly when you’re doing it with a group of friends. Plus, Roxy has supplied prizes, too.
