Make a Wish does Windells: Camper of the Day, Session 5

Level 1 skier, LJ Strenio, and Camper of the Day, Jason Lenihan

Windells was contacted by the Make a Wish Foundation a few months back. Jason Lenihan, 16, of Granby, Connecticut, wished to attend a session at the “funnest” place on earth and, of course, we were all for it!  We were moved by Jason’s story and inspired by his positive attitude and upbeat demeanor. Jason was a stand out camper and a perfect nominee for Session 5′s “Camper of the Day”.

Jason qualified for the Make a Wish program five years ago, and he was intrigued by the idea of skiing in July. He’s been skiing since age four and wanted to come to Windells after he’d seen session edits and Windells videos. Jason had a great time at ski camp with his cousin, Kyle. His favorite part of camp was newly implemented Cabin vs Cabin dodgeball. We couldn’t let Jason leave empty handed so we kitted him out with Windells gear, and the Level 1 team got together to surprise Jason with a visit and an autographed shirt to bring home with him.
