Windells Weekend – Game of Skate & Bike
This past weekend Windells staff decided to organize a couple games of Skate and Bike for the kids that come to Open Skate. We enjoy putting on contests for you to win prizes so what better way then a good old fashion game of S-K-A-T-E.
Hours of Open Skate/Bike are as follows: Friday 5-10pm, Saturday & Sunday 9-5pm However we are closed when Camp is in Session!

My son Carson is 7 years old and is REALLY into BMX and mountain biking (freeride). He races and was #2 in state last year for 6 year olds. Not that you need to know how well he did in racing, but more as a baseline to let you know how comfortable he is on his bike at his age. He has been bugging me about going to camp Woodward every since he saw the first episode, but a friend that I mountain bike with suggested you guys. He is interested in bowl riding, dirt jumping, etc. I would love for him to learn more about the sport but just need some direction as to how to get him involved at Windells. These open rides on the weekends, are those for campers or just drop ins? We live in Pasco, WA. So we would have to schedule a time. Thanks for you help.

Hello Tom,
The open BMX weekends are available kids/adults of all ages and abilities. The cost is $20/Friday (5pm-10pm) and $20/Saturday & Sunday (9am-5pm), the latter option is probably the best if you are coming from Pasco. We also offer day camp and that will generally work for kids as young as 6, infact we had our youngest skate day camper ever last year, he was only 3 years old!
