There’s so much snow on Mount Hood right now. Follow Nial Romanek, Forest Bailey, and Will Bateman as they cruise from the top of the Palmer Lift, through the longest park on Mount Hood (that would be the Windells Park), then through public park, and down to the bottom of the Magic Mile. So much fun!
“You know what they say about big shoes…” – Forest Bailey
Will Bateman is rolling on some size 19′s. Check out the video for proof.
“I keep my size 19′s with me at all times,” Will said. ”I put them in the back window of my car for security reasons. Anyone who looks at those shoes in the back, is going to think that some huge dude drives that car. I also like when we people say, ‘that’s a big dude driving a little car.”
Atmosphere Clothing is back this summer with their infamous snake run down the hill in The Concrete Jungle. Both campers and staff compete each session and it is really fun to watch, too! Check back for photos after the event.
Camp is in session and riders Nial Romanek, Will Bateman and Johnny Lazz have helped us kick off the summer. Despite some variable weather everyone is excited about getting to ride Mt. Hood in June with tons of snow coverage.
We like to keep our concrete fresh here at camp and Head Skate Coach Jamie, Billy, Pete, Nick, Jeff, Jasper, and more have been busy this year pouring a huge new street section to add to The Concrete Jungle. Right before camp the skate coaches painted the park bright red and yellow. Check out these pics to get a sneak peek at the new features. Stay tuned for more photos of the awesome new section.
