Camper of the Day: Elizabeth

We’re only a couple days into session 6 at Windells Camp but all summer long we’ve had a great variety of Campers of the Day from all ability levels around the world. Today we found Elizabeth who at 16 years old she’s traveled out to camp from California to progress her park riding. Camper of the Day: Eddie Wall Sr.

We’ve just become session 6 at Windells Camp with stellar snow conditions and new updates for our private terrain park on Timberline. Every year we see return campers who continue to come back summer after summer to push their riding and one of those familiar faces is Eddie Wall Senior.   Eddie describes himself as a 18 year old physically and mentally but with a face that looks 60 years old. With a pro snowboarder son Eddie Wall, the Senior version is out there riding and enjoying snowboarding just as much as any other snowboarder on the slopes. Today we watched the Senior shred with his son to enjoy a great day on the mountain.

Skate Update!

Summertime is here in Oregon, so that means consistent sunny days, as well as never ending skateboarding. The skate campers have been amazing this summer, and have progressed incredibly, all while scoping out parks within the greater Portland area. Professional skateboarders, snowboarders, and skiers have been getting down in the new concrete park. Check out the video of GNU pro Forest Bailey skating in the park, and click “More” to check out some other skate content… Continue reading →

Bonfire hosted its 2010 Summer Pipe To Pipe here at Windells. Both the snow and skate portions were absolutely incredible. On the snow end of things Chris Brewster pulled in the win in the Men’s Pro Division while Windells employee Mackenzie Matters took home the win in the Women’s division. Willis Kimble took the overall win for the Men’s pro skate division, absolutely destroying everything in the park. Windells wishes to extend a HUGE thank you to all of the participants and spectators of the event, as well as all of the sponsors for working with Windells to make the event possible…

Session 4 – Skiing

Session 4 here at Windells was Armada week, where Tanner Hall got his first days back on his skis in over a year. Pros, campers, and coaches were throwing down on the jumps and on the rail line. The on-campus dry slope acrobag saw a lot of action as well, as campers are getting ready to bring doubles to the snow. Watch the video for further evidence…

Session 4 – Snowboarding

Session 4 was a heavy one, both on and off the snow. Tech-Nine was at Hood for their Team Session here at Windells and T9 team riders MFM, Jonah Owen, Dylan Thompson, Lucas Magoon, Chris Bradshaw, Brady Larson, and Ben Bilodeau put it down on their Dream Feature. These dudes put the effort into making sure that their setup was progressive, and always changing.

Zombie Death Crew at Windells

Richie Conklin, Oliver Bacharach and Sam Mercer, more commonly referred to as the Zombie Death Crew, spend a day in the Windells park going fast with no regrets. These dudes have great attitudes, super good style, and get extra bonus  points for the G.G. Allin in the video. I found this video over at MethodMag‘s wesbite. Thanks for rollin through ZDC. You could also check out the the Zombie Death Crew blog for some funny updates, and to see what these up and comers have going on.
