Camper of the Day: Will
Here at Windells we have the overnight campers, day campers and many campers who come out with their own coaches to work on their progression during the summer. All of the campers come to use the on-mountain and on-campus facilities to make their experience the best. On the 85 foot jump we came across 16 year old day camper Will from Stowe Vermont who was working with his coach Ben to dial in his tricks to be today’s Camper of the Day!
Why did you choose to come to Windells Camp?
Will: It has the best weather and it’s the funnest place on earth. I love the new rope tow next to the big jump. It makes taking laps real easy.
What tricks are you working on this session?
Will: A few doubles and some switch 12’s.
Who is your coach and how do you like the coaching so far?
Will: My coach is Ben, he’s my coach from back east who came out with me. I love the coaching.
As a day camper at Windells, what’s the experience like?
Will: It’s cool, I wish I could stay longer at camp and hang out with my friends. We basically get to do almost the same stuff.
