From February 13th through the 19th, Snowboarders and Skiers from around the World will be Flying into the Portland International Airport to come to Windells, a place to experience mind-blowing powder days and endless park runs suitable for beginners through Expert. Mt. Hood Meadows, Timberline Ski Area and Mt. Hood Ski Bowl provides lap-able parks, pipes, natural halfpipes, wind lips,rollers, banks, tree runs, steeps, cornice drops and wide open cruisers. Your coach is your guide to these secret spots, including the best place to build a BC booter to stomp your first backy ever!

Mt. Hood Meadows and the Timberline Ski Area are where some of the most advanced Winter riding in the world happens and their parks are among the best in the country. Campers will also have the chance to ride a fully lighted park at Mt. Hood Ski Bowl, America’s largest night time resort. Check out the Presidents Camp, along with Windells Easter and Spring Break Camps.

Mammoth Grand Prix

Tim Windell was live and in person at the most recent Grand Prix that went down this last weekend at Mammoth Mountain. He was on site tossing out tons a free stickers and our New Camp DVD’s. If you did not get a chance to visit Tim at the Grand Prix, He is on his way to the DEW TOUR in UTAH.

After the Grand Prix concluded, Tim Windell immediately hit me up and went on and on about how proud he is of how well past campers competed in the Superpipe. The Top Five Riders have spent many seasons at Windells learning and perfecting new tricks during the summer and then take what they have learned and implement it during the competitive season. It is the perfect formula to success that all Windells Alumni use and the pay off shows!

Windells Academy at Dew tour! (update)

On Dec. 15th the students and staff of Windells Academy packed up their gear and headed for Dew Tour. The students spent the week competing and cheering on their friends in both halfpipe and slope style. On Dec. 18th,Christian Allen, one of our college Academy students from this past summer program was interviewed by NBC in their studio for qualifying for the full Dew Tour in halfpipe! 2010 Windells Weekends

This weekend is the grand opening of the 2010 Windells Weekends. The Famous 12 thousand square foot indoor recreation center will be open almost every Friday, Saturday and Sundays throughout the rest of the Winter and Spring. BOB (the indoor park) is loaded with mini-ramps, stairs, euro-gaps, bowls, trampolines, foampits and so much more! Don’t miss your chance to take advantage of Windells has to offer during the non camp season.

Beauty and the Beast 2 DVD Release

Girl & Anti-Hero’s Beauty and the Beast Tour 2 reserved a private session on Windells campus for Andrew Allen, John Cardiel, Mike Carrol, Frank Gerwer, Peter Hewitt, Rick Howard, Eric Koston, Sean Malto, Rick McCrank, Alex Olson, Max Schaaf, Julian Stranger, the Booy and Little Guy. Windells Academy heads into second semester! Sign up now!

The new year is here, and the students of Windells Academy are on their way back to campus from winter break. Brie spent her break with family on christmas, and took a trip to visit Maggie for new years. Lucas spent time at MT. Hood riding with his friends and family, working on his inverts. Alex headed back to the east coast to check up on his outdoor snowflex park progression, and Armand spent the majority of his wonderful winder break at the Dew Tour skiing and watching his friends such as LJ and Tom Wallisch compete. The students are very excited to get back to The Academy and even more excited for new students to arrive for second semester. Spring Semester at Windells Academy starts on January 19th and continues through May 28th. Enrollment deposit and application deadline is January 8th, and you can apply right here http://windellsacademy.com/enrollmentinformation/apply/. We also offer a summer semester from June 1st-August 31st, creating a year round academy, for fun on and off snow no matter what season it is!
