Today was the second industry trip for the Academy students. We took a trip to Bonfire/Solomon snowboard headquarters to see what goes on behind the scenes. The students learned everything from how to design and put together a jacket, to meeting the team manager who gets riders on the team. Everyone was VERY friendly and everyone had a blast! We even got gift bags that included a t shirt and a BUNCH of stickers. Thanks Bonfire! 
Today was the first day of Windells Academy. Kids started showing up around 10am and were very excited for what was to come. they unpacked their bags, got settled into their new and improved cabins (full size beds, new ikea furnature, tv, dvd player and everything else awesome) and headed to the “heshin delicatessen” for brunch. Everyone got introduced to eachother, got in the academy van and headed up to timberline to see the snow we would soon be riding on. Yes thats right. Still riding on snow in late september.
