Burton threw its first on hill contest this session, coming out with a jam session on their election 2010 camber rainbow box. A ton of snowboard campers hung out at the box and threw down their best frontsides, switch ups and swivels in a laid back session for a new Burton snowboard and some Burton schwag. Slasher Night with Rome and friends from Skull Candy and Arbor
Rome rider, Johnny Lazzareschi, along with Skull Candy shreds, Benny Henrick, Zach Hale and Arbor shreds Joe Bosler, Moss Halladay, and Ride shred, Austin Hironaka, attacked campers during Rome’s Slasher Night yesterday. They left no stone unturned, no trashcan unchecked, no area with trees, bushes or things to hide behind unpilfered, in order to find the one remaining survivor, who would win a brand new Rome jacket.

Recently, while Windells Staff and campers were lingering in the Timberline parking lot they were asked to model on the spot for Ralph Lauren’s Winter Collection. Apparently their shred-skill is easily paralleled by their looks off hill.

Burton came down to the Windells campus with a 2010 womens’ Blender snowboard–a new reverse camber stick–to give away to one lucky girl, as long as she could stomach the competition…
Rome Old School Trick Contest — video too!

Team Terror of Bjorn Leines, Marius Otterstad, Eiki Helgason, Staale Sandbech, Johnnie Paxson and Colorado Rome Rider Dylan Alito posted up on the jump line by the tow rope during Session Three and put on a “know-your-roots” snowboard contest for all of the young rippers at camp. While most of the campers were born post-1990, they impressed their coaches as well as Team Terror with quality pokes, bones and double grabs.
